T-Slot Nut Comparison
Both XAHN Sliding Nuts and XAHB Sliding Nuts with Spring Ball must be inserted from an open profile end and slid into position. Choose XAHB when temporary spring-ball positioning is needed before tightening. Choose XAHN when the matching GB or EU product row and a non-spring sliding nut meet the assembly requirement.

XAHN and XAHB are end-feed fasteners. Face the threaded hole toward the slot opening, insert the nut from an open profile end and slide it to the required fastening position.
Neither family can be inserted through the middle of the slot. Confirm that the required profile end will remain accessible at the time of installation.
The current XAHN product range includes GB and EU profile rows, with carbon-steel and SUS304 options. XAHN has no spring ball or spring leaf.
In a horizontal slot, XAHN can be slid and repositioned before tightening. In a vertical slot, support the nut until the bolt begins to engage; otherwise, the nut can slide downward.
The current XAHB21 range covers the stated EU profile rows in zinc-plated carbon steel. Its spring ball presses against the inside of the slot and helps hold the nut at the selected position before the bolt is tightened.
This temporary positioning is useful when the profile is vertical, inverted or difficult to reach with both hands. Final clamping still comes from the tightened bolt.
